Restoring hope for the next generation of Uganda by providing access to higher education while meeting their physical and spiritual needs.

Why Uganda?

The population of Uganda is more than 44 million people, with close to 21% between the ages of 15-24. Many in this age group are at risk, growing up without access to education or healthcare.

Without intentional guidance and access to higher education, the pathway for older youth to break the cycle of poverty is challenging. Their vulnerable state can lead them to choose life on the streets, prostitution, or petty crimes for survival.

RESTORE

By partnering with ministry leaders in Uganda, we restore hope by providing access to education, leadership development, and discipleship while meeting physical needs. The most common phrase heard by youth supported by Ravens is, “I now have hope for my future.”

TRANSFORM

With dreams of a more prosperous future, the next generation long for an education and a supportive community. Ravens Uganda youth, along with applicants on the waiting list, come together for weekly Christian fellowship gatherings, hosted by founder and pastor, Abel Muwanguzi. Their lives are transformed by the word of God and a sense of belonging in community. Many of the youth say, “Ravens is my family.”

EMPOWER

Our vision is to empower this next generation to lead self-sufficient lives. When provided with the resources and education needed to contribute to society, once-vulnerable youth can provide for themselves and their families. They become leaders and change agents for the future of their communities.
