February 2026: Happy First Day of School!

Monday, February 2 is the first day of school for Ugandan primary and secondary schools. It's also the first day of term for university students in various healthcare disciplines and technical and vocational schools!

Each Ravens Youth has lived through a season where school—and all of the promise it represented for their lives becoming better—was off the table indefinitely. And the generosity of this community ended that season and restored their hope. Now, the first day of school is a reason to celebrate!

We love graduations at Ravens Uganda, but we love the first day of school just as much! As you go about your week, please join us in praying for these youth as they get into the groove of a new school term:

• Pray for favor with their teachers and administrators

• Pray for rich and meaningful friendships at school

• Pray for confidence, endurance, and grace as they face the academic and social challenges of this term

• Pray for concentration, diligence, and joy in their studies

• Pray for their hope and courage to be renewed and filled up as each day passes
