Meet Joel
Joel, 21 hails from a family of six. He faced financial hardship that threatened his future. His parents worked tirelessly as farmers, but affording higher education seemed impossible. Joel lost hope, believing his dream of becoming a medical professional was out of reach.
His life was turned around when one of his friends, Denis, introduced him to Ravens. This lifeline offered Joel a chance to pursue his dreams, and he grasped it with renewed faith. Accepted into the program, Joel's passion for nursing was reignited.
Today Joel is studying nursing, and is driven by a sense of purpose. He envisions a future where he provides quality health and compassionate care to the many people he watches struggling to receive basic healthcare. Through Ravens support, Joel is becoming a nurse whose desire is to bring healing through both medicine and kindness.
