March 2026: Meet Beatrice

We are delighted to introduce you to one of our newest Ravens Youth, Beatrice. She is coming off of the waitlist thanks to the wonderful generosity of this community!

Beatrice has been out of school for two years due to financial constraints. The third of five children, she comes from a loving Christian family that struggles to make ends meet.

Her parents rely on their small garden and occasional small side jobs, but the income is inconsistent and insufficient.

Beatrice is aware of the risks many young girls face in similar situations, including abuse and exploitation. Through her hardships, she has remained determined to break the cycle of poverty and create a better life for herself and her family—and protect other young women from these risks.

Beatrice wants to pursue a career in aviation and is eager to become an agent of change in her community, making a positive impact and inspiring others.
