September 2025: Abel & Mildred’s Visit is Coming Up Soon!
There is so much to love about the shift towards autumn: cool breezes, fall sports, warm drinks—maybe you're one of the many "pumpkin people" who rejoice this time of year. And if you're reading this email, you're definitely a Ravens person, which means you have one major reason to get excited for fall: Abel & Mildred's annual visit to the US!
This year is going to be a bit different...
Our Fifth Annual Trivia Night is going to take place in February (more on that below), so your big opportunity to connect with Abel and Mildred is going to be Sunday, November 2nd at Warehouse 242 in Charlotte!
Abel and Mildred will be sharing during the 10am church service and then there will be a meet-and-greet lunch afterwards, which will be great! Being together with these dear friends is absolutely the highlight of our year.
5th Annual Trivia Night: Saturday, February 21, 2026
We are changing things up this year for our fifth (!!) annual Trivia Night. We were looking at the calendar and realized that, while November quickly fills with gatherings and events (and hopefully, more Charlotte FC playoff appearances!), the post-New Year's midwinter can be pretty... bleak. So we are bringing our bright, warm, fun Trivia Night to February!
We have a few more changes in the works to make our fifth Trivia Night the best one yet, so go ahead and mark your calendars for Saturday, February 21st and be thinking about who you'd like to invite!

I cannot wait for Abel and Mildred to be here! They are like the brother and sister I never had and it is such a joy to see them in "real life" and not just over email or WhatsApp. I know a lot of you are equally excited to see them! If you haven't had a chance to meet Abel and Mildred in person, they really are incredibly special people. I hope you’ll come meet them in November!
